You have just installed Anyplace Control software. It allows you to control remote computer and transfer files via the LAN/Internet.

Before connecting to the remote computer you must ensure that Host Module of Anyplace Control is already installed on the target remote PC. If it has not been installed, please, walk to target PC, download Installation package of Anyplace Control and install the Host Module on that PC. Then return back to your Admin computer.

How to control remote Host computer?

Account Connection mode.

This mode is designed for connection to a remote computer via the Internet using Account Name and Nick Name. You can bypass routers and firewalls without any configuration and you don't have to be concerned about having an external static IP address. Read more…

Connection to remote computers is possible only when remote Host Module was successfully added to your Internet Account during its installation.

When connecting to the Host computer using "Account Connection" mode you need to do the following:

1. Start the Admin Module application on your computer using "Start" menu or desktop shortcut.
2. Select "Account Connection" tab.
3. Enter your Account name and Account password (if requested).
4. Click "Refresh" button to load the list of your Account online computers into the Address Book.
5. Select target remote PC in the Address Book; click "Connect" button; enter the Access Password in the appearing dialog box.
6. Click "Full Control" button and control remote desktop with your mouse and keyboard in the appearing Remote Screen window.

Direct Connection mode.

This mode is designed for direct connection to a remote computer via IP address or DNS name. Connection is possible via LAN or Internet, but for a successful Internet connection, parameters such as static external IP address, firewall or router configurations are a must. Read more...

3. Click on the ADD NEW PC button for adding a new remote computer to the Address Book. Enter the remote IP address or click Browse and select target computer from Network Places.
4. Select target remote PC in the Address Book; click "Connect" button; enter the Access Password in the appearing dialog box.
5. Click "Full Control" button and control remote desktop with your mouse and keyboard in the appearing Remote Screen window.
